The 38th report of Terrorist crimes and its relation with the electoral process

Ayman Okail the head of MAAT and the official speaker in behalf of the International-Local Joint Mission to observe Parliamentary elections, declared that the Elections Observatory affiliated to the Mission, managed by MAAT has issued its 38th report for terrorist crimes and its relation to the democratic transition and the electoral process in particular.
Okail said that the report observed the continuation of the opponents power to 30th June,2013 revolution, and the entitlements of the future plan emanating from it, in conducting terrorist operation attempts in order to influence the agenda of the implementation of this entitlements, but most of these attempts were failed because of the notable success of the Egyptian bodies responsible of securing and crimes pre-emptive operations.
According to the report the armed forces and the police thwarted many terrorist attempts before their occurrence, which reduced the victims of the incidents to its minimum level, the report also, observed continued targeting of terrorist elements to the armed forces and the Egyptian police dramatically, where their share was about 43 violence incidents of a total of 57, by 75 %.
The report also observed the continued targeting of terrorist elements to citizens and service facilities, where their share was about 14 violence incidents of a total of 57, with an increase of 25%, at the same time it should be noted increasing rates of securing these facilities and services, which reduced the success rates of terrorist elements in targeting them, compared to the previous weeks.
The report also revealed a reduction in the distribution of the terrorist operations in the provinces, where distributed in 7 provinces only, with significantly concentration in North Sinai province, which witnessed 31 violence incidents of a total of 57 violence incidents, with an increase of 54%.
