The joint local international mission concluded its follow-up to the voting process in the first phase of the electoral process in seven Egyptian governorates, and is currently following the screening stage in the subcommittees, and this statement monitors the last hours of the voting process, specifically from five in the afternoon until the end of the voting process.

The vast majority of committees closed their doors at exactly nine o'clock in the evening, while the voting process in a limited number of committees extended for periods ranging from 15 minutes to one hour, and the last hours saw some local authorities (especially in Minya) drove cars on the streets urging people to turn For polling stations to vote before closing the ballot boxes

The last hours of the polling process witnessed a noticeable increase in turnout, especially in Giza Governorate. On the other hand, there was also a noticeable increase in the violations committed by the candidates, especially those related to dissenting advertising, vote buying, and clashes between supporters of the candidates. The most important things monitored during the last hours of voting can be summarized as follows:

The representative of “Candidate Muhammad Abu Heiba” was also arrested while distributing electoral bribes.
