Press Release The International-Local Mission to Observe the Parliamentary Elections Organizes a Meeting with the Foreign Media Reporters in Sharm El-Shiekh

Cairo, 5 March 2015 The International-Local Mission to Observe the Parliamentary Elections Organizes today, Thursday, 5 March 2015 an Induction and Consultative Meeting with foreign media reporters in Cairo, the meeting will continue till tomorrow, Friday 6 March 2015 in Sharm ElShiekh.
"The meeting seeks to open a constructive dialogue between the International-Local Mission and the international press reporters, in the framework of the Mission's believe in the integrated role played by the international and local CSOs and foreign and local media in promoting the public elections integrity and completing the democratic transition requirements", stated Mr. Ayman Okeil, the Mission's Coordinator in Egypt.
The meeting gathers the leaders of the three partner organizations led by Dr. Loai Deeb, President of the Global Network for Rights and Development; Prof. Jean-François Fechino, Chief Executive Manager of the International Institute for Peace, Justice, and Human Rights; Mr. Abozer Elmana Mohamed Elligai: Vice-President of the Global Network for Rights and Development; Mr. Volkhard Windfuhr, the head of the Foreign Press Association in Egypt; and MR. Yasser Abdel Aziz: Media Expert and member of the media assessment committee formed by the High Election Committee.
The International-Local Joint Mission to Observe the Parliamentary Elections – Egypt 2015 is a strategic coalition composing the Global Network for Rights and Development (GNRD); the International Institute for Peace, Justice and Human Rights (IIPJHR) and their local partner Maat for Peace, Development and Human Rights (MAAT), in addition to 31 local NGOs.
