Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights is an Egyptian non-governmental organization that has obtained consultative status in the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations since April 2016, and the Foundation is keen to work and cooperate with the UN system to protect human rights closely and periodically, and it is strictly committed to professionalism, methodology and distance from the politicization of its activities, This is evidenced by all its previous participation in the activities of the Human Rights Council or any other UN activities since it obtained the consultative status 

However, last March, the Foundation was subjected to a fierce campaign of intimidation and intimidation by spreading false rumors against it to obstruct its work, and to discourage it from carrying out its role related to participating in UN activities that serve human rights issues in the world, and this campaign included the use of the name of the United Nations in a manner that contains fraud It is clear, and there are indications and evidence that we will review in this report that prove Qatar’s involvement and support for the process of intimidation, intimidation and the spread of rumors that targeted the Maat Foundation.
