The Mission continued its follow up to the course of electoral process for the Egyptian parliament, where the Mission observed submitting nearly 223 appeals against the decisions of the High Committee for Elections for exclusion of some candidates. The Mission monitored the submission of approximately 223 appeals against the decisions of the Supreme Committee to exclude some candidates
The Mission, also, observed yesterday the continuation of the early campaigning, by the candidates in a large number of provinces. The Mission also observed one of the candidates, in the second constituency, Zagazig center, of Sharkia province, using worship places (mosques) and the exploitation of voters gathered at the Friday prayers in the electoral campaigning inside the mosque, and using microphones.
The Mission also observed one of the candidates distributing meat and food items to the voters, and the exploitation of Eid al-Adha season in the election campaign, addition to the distribution and organization of exhibitions for school supplies with approaching beginning of the academic year, directly after Eid al-Adha vacation
As the political powers and partisan arena witnessed a state of calm at the central level, and intensifying the activity at the grassroots level in the constituencies to support their candidates on the field, on a daily basis. Such as, the Free Egyptians party and Al Nour party in Cairo, Alexandria, Qaliubiya, Kafr El-Sheikh constituencies. so as these parties does, "the future of the nation"or " "Mostakbal Watan" and the "delegation" or "El Wafd" to support their candidates in El Beheira, Gharbia, Beni Suef, Minya and Cairo constituencies, as the alliance "in love of Egypt" do an intensely field activities for its lists' candidates, strongly in all provinces.
