The International-Local Mission continued observing the proceedings of the electoral process, and in the framework of its work and aspiration to reach an electoral process characterized with transparency, integrity and equal opportunities, MAAT for Peace , Development and Human Rights, the local partner for the International-Local Mission submitted a complaint to the High Elections Committee "HEC" against one of Mattarya constituency candidates, in Cairo governorate, for providing electoral bribes in disguise to the people of the constituency, to falsify their electoral will.

The mission also commends the fact that some neighborhoods have removed all the propaganda banners that the candidates placed before the scheduled dates. In the same context, the mission commends the decision of Dr. Ihab al-Jaafari, director of the Belbeis Educational Administration, who circulated a circular to all schools, includes not entering schools or distributing gifts to students or writing on the walls and notifying him immediately in the event that the candidate tries to write on the walls of schools to take legal action about it.

The Mission, as well, observed that some candidates of the second stage of the elections were campaigning in violation with the scheduled dates by the High Elections Committee, in many constituencies.

In the same context, the candidates continue to violate the governing rules for the electoral process through the exploitation of civil institutions, which are forbidden to support any electoral candidate.
