As part of its daily field follow-up, the joint international local mission continued to monitor the electoral environment and its process in 164 constituencies, representing 80 % of the number of electoral districts in Egypt.
The mission followed up on the end of the Administrative Court ruling on all appeals of those excluded, within the time period specified by the committee, in which the number of appeals reached 412.. Which led to the re-listing of 50 candidates into the lists of candidates. The committee also announced the inclusion of 3 electoral lists, so that the final number became 12 electoral lists.
While the mission continued to submit several appeals to the State Litigation Authority represented by the Supreme Elections Committee calling for the cancellation of administrative judiciary rulings issued in favor of a number of candidates in the upcoming parliamentary elections, both with individual and list systems.. Among the most prominent of the appeals filed by the State Litigation Authority represented by the Supreme Elections Committee is the appeal to cancel the ruling issued for the eligibility of the Egyptian Front and Independence Movement coalition list to run in the elections for the northern, central and southern Upper Egypt sectors.. The commission also appealed against the ruling issued in favor of the "Knights of Egypt" list that it has the right to run in the elections for the West Delta sector district. Yesterday, the mission observed that many candidates continue to hang propaganda banners, hold conferences, organize sports courses, and use places of worship in electoral campaigning, in violation of the rules and dates set by the Supreme Elections Committee.
In Dakahlia, the mission monitored the rise of the candidate Muhammad Hasan al-Hawari, on the authority of Miniat al-Nasr in the village of al-Jamalia, attending a football match in the village of Marja in Mitt Salsil, presented gifts to the winners, and asked the participants in the meeting to support him in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
In Menoufia, candidate Muhammad Suleiman Lashin, a candidate for the Quesna and Barakat al-Saba 'constituencies, hung election banners above the wall of the Quesna city court.
In the first district of Shubra al-Kheima, the mission observed that the candidate Naguib Lotfi, known as “Safwat Lotfi,” distributed medical examination cards bearing a deduction of 75 % from the examination value, and 20 % from the value of operations at the Nour Al-Hayat Eye Specialist Hospital, with the name of the candidate written on it.
The mission in Sharqiya also observed that the candidate, Safi al-Din Mutawali, candidate for the seventh district, Abu Kabir Center, held a meeting inside the Grand Mosque in Ezbet Taymour of the local unit in the village of Harbit in the Abu Kabir center, after the evening prayer with the people about the parliamentary elections, and one of his supporters and supporters distributed leaflets to the candidate inside the mosque It includes his electoral program and solving homestead problems, if successful.
In Dakahlia, the mission monitored the rise of the candidate Hussein Abdul Sami Ahmed Ibrahim on the fifth circle “Dikirnis - Bani Ubaid” by making a meeting after the afternoon prayer at the village of Mit Tarif mosque with the worshipers asking them to vote for it.
In Cairo, the mission observed that candidate Fadi Diab hung a propaganda banner on the walls of the Al-Malik Al-Saleh metro station, exploiting the walls of the public facility in his propaganda campaign.
