The Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights carried out a medical caravan in cooperation with the Association of His Companions Khair for the people of Ezbet Khayrallah and Stable Antar in the Dar Al Salam district of Cairo.
The convoy included the most needy specialties in the region, such as (internal medicine - liver - children) and witnessed a remarkable turnout of marginalized and needy families in the region, orphanage, families of prisoners, and poor families.
The convoy also included the provision of free examination and dispensing of free medicines to families. It also included a number of referrals of surgical operations to specialized medical centers and volunteer convoys.
The volunteers of Maat Foundation and the Association of his Companions Khair also participated in a propaganda campaign in the region to attract families and announce the convoy, its specializations and dates, with the participation of (12) volunteers.
The caravan was attended by volunteers, Dr. Imad Abu Al-Enein - consultant children and member of the American Academy, and Dr. Sayed Emam - specialist at the Cairo Liver Institute, and Dr. Muhammad Salem - specialist internal medicine.
The people of Ezbet Khayrallah and Istabl Antar also expressed their desire for more and more continuous organized medical convoys due to the poor economic conditions in the region and the decline in the social and economic standard of living for families.
