Projects management and getting a loan training For prisoners and detainees families in Imbaba

Maat for Peace, Development and Human Rights concluded a training on projects management and how to obtain loans for prisoners and detainees families in Imbaba, in the framework of the Integration and Rehabilitation project. Maat Foundation implements the Integrated Protection for the Families of Prisoners and Detainees in six areas in Cairo and Giza governorates including: Dar ElSalam, Basateen, Khalifa, Maasra, Atfeeh, Imbaba, and Bulaq Eldakrur. 17 members of the target group benefited of the training content which addressed project management and how to obtain loans to improve the families income via the implementation of small projects after their training and qualification. The training tackled the project lifetime, methods to conduct market studies, and the four skills for small project owner (leadership, planning, time management, and monitoring and evaluation), as well as the good salesman skills, how to maintain customers, and how to turn visitor client into permanent client. The training resulted in some ideas and projects that the families plan to submit to Maat Foundation in order to obtain in-kind grants to transform these ideas to small projects. The projects that the families are planning to implement include (soap selling shop, grocery, catering, selling readymade cloths, computer maintenance office, and printing office). Maat Foundation intends, and through the Integration and Rehabilitation project to offer in-kind grants for the excellent graduates of the training as a contribution of the project to help the families and improve their income and living standard. Maat Foundation calls the community to provide assistance and support to the prisoners families to become active and productive as ever.
