Maat for Peace, Development and Human Rights launches on Monday November 11th 2013 a regional workshop entitled "Exchange of Expertise for the Advancement of Civil Work Freedom in the Arab Spring Countries".
The workshop comes in the framework of the project "Cultural Exchange for the Advancement of Civil Work Freedom" implemented by Maat foundation in cooperation with the Anna Lindh Foundation for Dialogue between Cultures and some Arab and Egyptian organizations.
The workshop participants include activists, civil work leaders in Egypt and other countries such as Palestine and Lebanon, where the Arab countries participants will present their experiences regarding the governing legal and procedural reality for civil work in their countries. The workshop also includes a training component on the advocacy skills and networking and building coalitions skills between civil society organizations.
The workshop continues till Thursday November 14th 2013 where the closing press conference will be organized to announce the workshop recommendations and future work steps.
