Solidarity with the judges of Egypt

Maat Center for Legal and Constitutional Studies confirms that the event represented by the Extraordinary General Assembly of the Judges Club of Egypt, which was held on Friday 13/5/2005, and the discussions and recommendations issued by it in terms of decisions and recommendations, bears a clear indication that there are keen judges in Egypt On their independence and their innocence before the people.

The events of the Extraordinary General Assembly also confirm the release of Egyptian judges from the burden of falsifying the will of the people over the past two decades, which on the other hand carries with it a death certificate for the past parliamentary organs, a birth certificate and confirmation of the validity of reports issued by human rights organizations, and a court The veto on election fraud in Egypt.

The Maat Center for Legal and Constitutional Studies calls on Egypt's judges to complete their careers and not compromise the rights they exercise in the interest of citizens.

The Center expresses its full solidarity with the judges of Egypt in their special demands to amend the Judicial Authority Law and the Law on the Exercise of Political Rights, in a manner that guarantees complete and real independence of the judicial authority.

It guarantees judicial supervision of elections that the judiciary bears responsibility for its integrity before the people. These organizations affirm their solidarity with the recommendations issued by the Extraordinary General Assembly of the Egyptian Judges Club.
