Bombings in Cairo and Mansoura, New episodes in the series of terrorism after July 3, 2013.

The Civil Society Organizations (SCOs) who signed on this statement, condemn the terrorist bombings on Dakahlia’s Security Directorate in the last few days, and led to 16 dead and 130 injured. And the bus bombing that took place this morning in Cairo, and led to the injury of many people.

These Organizations deplore these criminal actions that are against all religions and laws, and violate the fundamental rights of the citizens. So these organizations confirm on the following:

1- These criminal actions that led to the death and injury of many people (policemen and civilians) are new episodes of the war on the state by forces of darkness, since the depose of the Ex-president Mohamed Morsi in the 3rd of July 2013.

2- The Muslim Brotherhood and its allies provide a political cover incite on violence through their actions on the street and in their speeches which contrast what was approved by the peoples’ will in the 3rd of July 2013. But the Muslim Brotherhood rejects to accept this and closes its eyes and ears from truth. And they will not hesitate to shed the blood of the Egyptians to return to power.

3- These organizations appeal the president and the Egyptian Government to take all the urgent necessary and appropriate precautions and procedures to eradicate and drain the sources of terrorism, to provide security to the citizens and public utilities.

4- Asking the countries - that provide “platforms” for these terrorists, and use them to incite on the state and its institutions and citizens in order to disrupt the elections and the upcoming referendum – to reconsider their stances so as not to spot their hands with the blood of innocent Egyptians.

Egypt had scarified a lot to eliminate the terrorism in the years before 25th of January 2011, and suffered from human rights violations by the violence forces and the ruling regime in this time. The Egyptian People who made the 25th of Jan, and 30th of June Revolutions, will not accept the terrorism, tyranny or the restoring these days again.

Therefore these signing organizations appeal the Egyptian authorities to activate the provisions of the Penal Code concerning the definition of the terrorism crimes, and to be applied on everyone who committed, incited or financed violence since the 30th of June till now, while maintaining human rights standards, according to Egypt's international obligations in this regard.
