Report submitted to the Committee against Torture regarding the Democratic Republic of the Congo

Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights (Egypt) presents this report in the context of its interest in promoting respect for human rights in Africa, which is witnessing several developments, at various levels, especially with regard to combating torture, as the Democratic Republic of the Congo ratified the Convention against Torture on March 18, 1996, Since then, the Congo state has submitted only two reports to the commission, the first in 1997 and the second in 2019.
