In light of the interest of an institution Maat for Peace, Development and Human Rights (Egypt) (Egypt) with the international mechanisms for human rights, and in conjunction with the work of the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Sudan, the Foundation presents its report on the human rights situation in Sudan, and we would like to draw the attention of the Special Rapporteur about the current situation in Sudan and the impact of the popular movement on the human rights situation in Sudan. Sudan has been stuck in poverty and poor economic conditions for years affecting all groups, including women and children, and despite Sudan's cooperation with international mechanisms, it is in the middle and has many violations. Protests over the situation: President Omar al-Bashir was overthrown and arrested, and now the country is going through a transitional phase ruled by the military council, and Sudan is still in a state of tension and there is no agreement between the military council and the protesters on a roadmap for the country, hence this report shows Sudan’s cooperation with international mechanisms, and freedom Opinion and expression, arbitrary arrests, women's rights, children's rights, and the current political situation.
