The state of human rights in Palestine after the March 30 protests

Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights (Egypt) submits this report to clarify its comment on the situation in Palestine after the protests of 30 March 2018

The United Nations Human Rights Council held a special session on May 18, 2018 in Geneva due to the deteriorating human rights situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, during which it adopted a decision to establish an independent international commission of inquiry to investigate all violations of international law in the occupied Palestinian territories in the context of the March of Return protests In which 184 Palestinians have been killed since its launch. In the resolution that was adopted, the Council decided to send an independent, international, independent commission to investigate the Israeli violations in the occupied Palestinian territories, including East Jerusalem, especially in the occupied Gaza Strip since the beginning. The large-scale civil protests that began on 30 March 2018
