In light of the Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights striving to promote human rights, in particular the rights stipulated in the 1990 Convention on the Rights of the Child and the two Additional Protocols, and in conjunction with the Committee on the Rights of the Child holding its 87th session, which will be held from June 1 to June 5, this report aims to review The State of Kuwait: The State of Kuwait had ratified the Convention on the Rights of the Child in 1991, and from the time of ratification until now, the State of Kuwait had reviewed it before the Committee three times. Despite the reforms that the state has undertaken to improve the situation of children's rights, yet the state has refused to amend its legislation to guarantee certain rights.
