Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights is an Egyptian non-governmental organization recognized in accordance with the provisions of Law 84 of 2002, and it was elected in June 2014 as President of the Egyptian National Network of the Anna Lindh Euro-Mediterranean Foundation for the Dialogue between Cultures for a period of two years, and the Foundation is mainly concerned with promoting development values based on respect for human rights standards And community peace, and for that, it believes in dialogue as the only means to achieve cultural and social integration between the components of Egyptian society, and thus consider dialogue in itself a means of development and a goal at the same time.

In the context of this vision, and within the framework of the strategic plan to develop the network - the sixth step supported by the Anna Lindh Euro-Mediterranean Foundation for Intercultural Dialogue, the Maat Foundation, as president of the Egyptian National Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation, developed the "Try to talk" campaign, through which it seeks to promote the culture of dialogue, By providing the cadres of network member organizations with the tools and skills to manage effective community dialogue.

      Mission description

 Maat Foundation seeks to contract with a specialized expert To develop an educational booklet entitled “Try to talk During August 2014 in Cairo - Egypt, it targets youth groups, cadres of civil and community work, and internet users.

      Objective of the instruction manual

The educational booklet seeks to enable the groups who will use the booklet to know the tools and skills of dialogue and its concepts, to distinguish between the concept of dialogue, debate, conflict and other related concepts, and to promote and spread the culture of dialogue in a simplified and friendly way to the public.

      The activities that will be included in the assignment

1-    Preparing an initial draft of the handbook that includes the initial content of the booklet.

2-    Preparing the final draft of the booklet that includes the final content after reviewing the initial version with the contracting authority.

3-    Cover design and graphics that may be included in the brochure.

      Specifications of the submitted offers

The technical and financial proposals submitted by the experts must include at least the following information: -

1-    A CV of the expert / experts showing previous experience in implementing similar programs.

2-    The main topics covered in the handbook.

3-    The required fee is divided into working days, according to the expert's estimate of the time required to complete the task.

      Procedures and timeframe for submitting proposals and responding to experts

1-    The expert / experts shall send their proposals according to the previous specifications, no later than August 9, 2014, to the following email addresses:

2-    Only approved offers will be examined and contacted with approved offers within three days of the end of the period of receiving offers.

3-    The academic subject must be completed within two weeks of signing the contract.
