Last week witnessed the emergence of the “first black olive” in the parliament tree through its final approval of its proposed law to organize civil work, which met with widespread objections from civil society forces, especially in light of some of its texts violating the Egyptian constitution, and Egypt's international obligations stemming from its pledges before the review mechanism.
