After a long wait, the star and GNRD ambassador Carole Samaha launched her huge work “The Great East” produced and visionary by the great Arab human rights defender, Dr. Louay Deeb, who gave it to the International Network for Rights and Development, and the artist, Carol, gave it to the Arab world, where she worked for months as a volunteer to bring the work to light.
The work began on the evening of Sunday January 4, 2015 on the LBCI and LDC channels, and through the "Hana Al-Asema" program with the media, Lamees Al-Hadidi, on the Egyptian CBC, Cairo Channel and Al-Nas. It will also be available on the YouTube channel of the International Network for Rights and Development.
The clip simulates an advanced drama that commemorates the victims of the fallen in the Arab world recently, perpetuates the glory of the East and its religious and ethnic unity, and emphasizes the civilization of the East.
The clip, directed by French director Terry Verne, differs from previous works in terms of the cinematic vision that distinguished it and the huge cost of production, in addition to the techniques used in filming it, as it was filmed with three cameras, which are Phantom, Arri Alexa and Canon 5D. New special visual effects were also used in the work.
The filming of the clip took two days in Tunis, when special decorations were built in the studio. The team consisted of 60 technicians from Paris and Tunisia, and more than 100 extras were involved. The post production process of the clip took two months, under the supervision of 10 workers.
A professional trainer supervised the exercise of Carole and the warriors, and designer Gabi Sharbashi also designed Carole's costumes in action. Makeup: Hamada and Hair: Joe from Tony Ibrahim salon.
It is noteworthy that the song was written and composed by Marwan Khoury, arranged by Michel Fadel, and played by the Kiev Philharmonic Orchestra led by Maestro Vladimir Serranko, and will be published exclusively through the Anghami app.
