Citizen's Voice opens files of neglect in localities Hamed al-Jamal opens fires on the Islamic political trend

Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights produced the Tenth Issue of the citizen's voice magazine. This magazine comes in the framework of Citizen Project of decentralization. This project is implemented by the support of the Foundation for the Future in the five governorates of Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Qena and Luxor. The project seeks to build the capacity of local community parties to deal with changes associated with decentralization leading to improve the quality of public services provided to citizens and to activate the work of popular control of local bodies.
The magazine includes 8 different chapters other than the home page. The magazine deals in this issue with the most prominent events on the local scene, mainly, the presidential elections and the crisis of gasoline and foot and mouth disease, as well as a dialogue with Judge Mohammed Hamid Al-Gamal, the former president of the State Council, which reveals the facts about the constitutional amendments and his view of the article (28 ) of the Constitutional Declaration.
The issue also contains of a collection of critical articles and a survey of opinions and complaints of citizens, within the framework of the project that is keen to identify the issues of decentralization, local governance, advocacy for the introduction of a decentralized local government and improve the legislative framework in order to serve this purpose.
We seek through the magazine to monitor the economic and social charges that the Egyptian citizen is suffering from, and work to force decision makers and officials to solve problems
