Aqeel: The exploitation of unions, societies, teachers and children is the most prominent of violations.

The Parliamentary Elections Observatory of the Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights continues to monitor the electoral climate for the second phase of the parliamentary elections. In this context, Ayman Aqil, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights stated that the most prominent violations were embodied in the apparent widespread use of children in the electoral advertisements for the candidates. It is rejected according to international human rights conventions. Aqeel also stated that some candidates use the general unions to promote their electoral propaganda, taking advantage of their membership in the union’s board of directors.
The Parliamentary Elections Observatory continued to monitor the violations committed by the candidates in the various electoral districts in ten governorates. Candidate Salah Ghobashy for the Ain Shams constituency, the owner of Al Reyadah School, has been monitoring a ceremony honoring the outstanding students inside the school and announced his electoral program during the ceremony and published his banners and distributed his electoral program to attendees Inside the school walls.
In Damietta, the first constituency / Damietta Center and City district / Damietta Center, the candidate Jihad Eid, a member of the Teachers Syndicate in Damietta, held a meeting inside the Teachers Syndicate headquarters for members of the union, and his electoral program presented to them their demands for their support in the elections.
