Ghana and the gradual lifting of the ban

The President of Ghana announced the lifting of the ban on the capital Accra and the city of Kumasi, the two largest cities of # Ghana. And this is despite the fact that the cases of Corona infection exceeded 1000 cases.

Although the # lifting ban came with other precautionary decisions; These include the continued closure of schools, the prevention of gatherings in public places, the urge to adhere to social distancing, and the closure of borders, but this may pose a danger to the country because the virus has not receded yet.

The World Health Organization has warned that the rush to ease restrictions that have been adopted to contain the emerging # Corona virus will likely lead to a return of the disease again, stressing that "the worst is yet to come."

The Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights recommends that the gradual lifting of closures and social embargoes in countries should be to achieve the right balance between preserving the health of citizens and allowing economies to return to work, in order to achieve the third goal of #_Sustainable Development 2030.
