Bamat Elections Observatory: directing voters and propaganda before the committees and mass transportation are the most prominent violations

For the second consecutive day, the Parliamentary Elections Observatory of the Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights continues to follow up the voting process through follow-up in 94 targeted electoral districts.

During the period from (11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) we observed many violations by some candidates, which were represented in the advertisements in front of the polling centers and the continued transportation of voters to the polling stations, and the most important thing that was monitored in this regard was:

1- Cairo / Dar Al-Salam / Mass transport by cars to transport the voters in front of the headquarters of Tayseer Matar and Ali Abdel-Wanis and direct them to vote for the candidates.

2- Menoufia / Shebin El-Kom / Mass transport in cars belonging to the candidate Nidal Mandour and the candidate Abu Bakr Qashqosh roaming the streets of the city of Shebin El-Kom to transport the voters to the electoral headquarters and direct them to vote for the two candidates

3. Al Gharbia Governorate / Zefta District / Martyr Ahmed Bahij School: The campaign of the candidate, Mahmoud Abdullah Abu Hussein, mobilizes the voters through mass transportation with microbuses that transport them to the polling stations and direct them to vote for the candidate.

4. Qalyubia Governorate / Shabar Al-Khaima First District / Metwally Al-Shaarawy Preparatory School for Boys / Candidate Alaa Al-Atmouni mobilizes intensively by transporting voters to the polling stations via pick-up trucks and a number of ticks, and one of the officers issued a warning to the candidate's supporters to stop the propaganda before the committee.

5- Kafr El Sheikh Governorate \ Hamoul and Bella District \ Candidate campaigners Issam Abdel Ghaffar, Abdel Aziz Hamouda and Ibrahim Al Qassas transfer voters from their homes to the polling stations.

The observers of the Parliamentary Elections Observatory of the Maat Foundation monitored the occurrence of quarrels and disputes between the supporters of the candidates, some of them the most important of which were: -

1- Sharqia / Twelfth Circuit Al-Husseini / Abu Shmeis Elementary School / Committee 96, which witnessed a verbal altercation between the candidates' delegates to the voters, which called for the intervention of security and committee advisors

2. Dakahlia Governorate - Belqas District - Kafr El Ghanamah Primary School - The existence of quarrels between supporters of "Candidate Wahid Qarqar" and "Candidate Yusri Al Maghazi", to influence the will of the voters.

It was also observed that the Nour Party directed voters in front of some polling stations to elect a female candidate, which was observed in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, Kafr El-Sheikh Center district, in front of Al-Orouba Primary School

In Al-Sharqiya Governorate in Zagazig, inside Al-Sadat School, the security forces made reservations about the candidate, Atef Maghawri, when he entered the polling committee, explaining this by investigating his name, as it is similar to the name of a citizen against whom a mandatory prison sentence was issued, and the candidate complained to the judge, who in turn kept him until his identity was confirmed.

It was also observed that some of the candidates' representatives directed the voters to elect their candidate in front of the polling stations and inside the committee roads, and among the most important things that was monitored: -

1. Sharkia / Twelfth District Al-Husseiniya / Mubarak Kol Industrial School / Committee 152 and 153 / where the loudspeakers of candidate Saif Atwan and candidate Hisham Rizk were monitored, in addition to voter orientation by the candidates' delegates

2. Kafr El Sheikh Governorate \ Kafr El Sheikh Center District \ Al-Qarda Elementary School \ Voter orientation in favor of the candidate Ghulosh by the candidate's representative

3. Kafr El Sheikh Governorate \ Kafr El Sheikh Center District \ Rawina School for Basic Education \ Voter Orientation for Candidate Hussam Gad

4- Cairo / Dar Al-Salam district, the candidate, Khaled Abdel Aziz, directed the voters to choose inside the school complex on Fayoum Street in the Dar Al-Salam region

5- Dakahlia Governorate - Al-Senbellawein District - Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq School, the presence of candidates' supporters in front of the electoral committees to influence the voters, which led to crowding before the committees and the difficulty of voter entry to them.

6. North Sinai / Bir al-Abed District / Bir al-Abed Primary School / Supporters of “Candidate Suleiman Al-Zamalout,” conducting electoral propaganda before the Committee to influence the will of the voters.

The Parliamentary Elections Observatory of Maat also monitored that the security forces warn supporters of candidate Alaa Al-Atmouni in Qalyubia Governorate / Shubra El-Kheima First District / in front of Metwally Al-Shaarawy Preparatory School for Boys for directing voters to elect the candidate.
