Maat launches the Presidential Election Observatory “Egypt 2014” page on Facebook. The page provides documented information on the results of field and media monitoring.

Within the framework of its follow-up work to the Egyptian presidential elections, and its interest in monitoring the performance and positions of the Egyptian, Arab and foreign media outlets related to the presidential elections on the one hand, and monitoring field activities and events in different regions related to the electoral process on the other hand, the Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights has launched a specialized page on the communication website Social Face Book at the following link:

The page provides daily documentation of the most important violations, violations and negative performance that will be monitored, whether by the media or by various parties and stakeholders at the field level, and the page will also provide periodic reports on the results of monitoring the electoral process, in order to serve the voters, the media and other stakeholders who wish to Obtaining documented and systematic information regarding the evaluation of the electoral process from the perspective of integrity and freedom.

It is noteworthy that the Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights had launched the “Presidential Election Observatory - Egypt 2014”, which carries out field and media follow-up activities for the Egyptian presidential elections in all its upcoming stages, which include the candidacy phase, after the candidacy closes, the electoral campaign phase, and electoral silence. 60 researchers, field and media monitors will participate in the work of the observatory throughout the electoral process, as well as 2490 field observers who will be pushed to follow the electoral silence phase and the facts of the polling and counting process in the subcommittees and the days immediately following it.
