The training targeted a number of migrant girls in Egypt, in order to raise their capabilities and enhance their participation in community life, also to enhance leadership skills, and raise levels of awareness about the importance of promoting empowerment at all levels.

The workshop also included an introductory session on international and regional mechanisms for protecting the rights of women and girls, Maat conclude the today with a simulation activity for those mechanisms concerned with enhancing the status of women internationally and regionally.
