On the sidelines of its participation in the work of the 54th session of the Human Rights Council, Maat Foundation comments on an interactive dialogue with the Working Group on Arbitrary Detention.
Maat is deeply concerned about the Qatari authorities’ continued practice of arbitrary detention of a number of activists and human rights defenders, and called on the working group to put pressure on the Qatari authorities to immediately and unconditionally release Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Ansari and all those arbitrarily detained in Qatari prisons.
