The meetings witnessed the election of Egypt as represented by the Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Rights

The meeting was attended by representatives of the five regions of the African continent: Mr. Paul Okumu; Head of Trustees of the African Platform, Henry Ourokot; Head of the Regional Center for State Cooperation for Development; The East African Area Officer, Mr. Kofi Kankam; President of the Elzka Relief Foundation; West Africa Area Officer, Judith Cullum; Executive Director of the Poverty Reduction Forum Fund; The South African Area Officer, Mr. Ayman Akil; President of the Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights; And the North Africa region official.
It was also announced that Egypt would host the permanent headquarters of the General Secretariat of the African Group of Civil Society Organizations to support the goals of sustainable development.
