The joint observation delegation for Maat for Peace, Development and Human Rights and the Global Network for Rights and Development (GNRD) finalized their preparation for the observation of 2014 referendum on the amendments of 2012 suspended constitution decided on January 14 & 15, 2014.

The delegation finalized the formulation of field observation teams in 23 governorates (200 teams), every team consists of an average of 5 observers by a total of 1000 field observers in the target governorates. As well as finalizing the formulation of 23 local operation rooms by one in each governorate.

The delegation publishes with this statement a list of the local operation rooms contacts in the target governorates to receive statements and complaints which will be transferred to the central operation room at Maat Foundation.

It is worth noting that the joint monitoring process between Maat and the International Network for Rights and Development is attended by 16 international observers affiliated with the network, and the process seeks to follow up the referendum procedures, whether at the level of voting in polling stations or following the political and societal context in which the process will take place.
