Maat for Peace, Development and Human Rights participated with an oral statement in the interactive dialogue with the Committee of Human Rights Experts on #Ethiopia under Item 4, during the activities of the 54th session of the Human Rights Council, through which it condemned the deteriorating human rights conditions of the people of the #Tigray region as a result of the violence resulting from military operations. It also recommended adherence to the terms of the signed peace treaty, the release of political prisoners and the lifting of the state of emergency in the country, in addition to the neutralization of any external parties in Ethiopian internal affairs.
