Concerning: the fourth item / interactive dialogue with the Southern Sudan Human Rights Commission.

Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights (Egypt) presents this intervention on the human rights situation in the Republic of South Sudan during the previous period. Before the signing of the peace agreement between the government and the opposition, South Sudan witnessed clear and flagrant violations of human rights, which led to a decline in the ability of this fledgling country to push development indicators forward, as was expected. As a result of the war, the country has reached an economic crisis that is inseparable from human rights, and its causes must be examined in order for these conditions to improve. The following is a review of the most important human rights conditions in South Sudan.
