Small new projects in the integrated protection project for the families of prisoners and detainees “integration and rehabilitation”

Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights concluded the training program (A Point of Hope) for training in managing projects and obtaining loans within the framework of the integrated protection project for the families of prisoners and detainees, which is implemented by the Foundation in the governorates of Cairo and Giza in (6) targeted areas: 🙁 Imbaba - Bulaq - Al-Masara - Atfih - Al-Basateen and Dar Al-Salam - Al-Khalifa) benefited from the training, (17) from Al-Ma’sara region, among the beneficiaries of the project and families who wish to create a small project that generates a quick income to improve economic opportunities and the standard of living for them. The life cycle of the project, market study, and feasibility study skills. The training also touched on leadership skills, follow-up, and evaluation. The Hope Point training resulted in presenting (12) families with a small project idea for the Maat for Peace Foundation to give them grants in kind for the most serious projects among these projects. And among the projects (manufacture of baked goods and tortillas - selling vegetables - selling frozen items - repairing clothes - selling hummus - selling salt ..) At the end of the training, Maat provides grants in kind to the graduates of the training program for the most realistic and serious projects in order to improve the economic situation of these families. The role of the institution is not limited to Giving grants, but following up on these projects with families to remove the obstacles that may occur. Maat for Peace calls on all segments of society to unite and provide support to these families so that their living conditions improve and they depend on themselves by making small income-generating projects that reintegrate them into society again.
