In a clear signal from the terrorist groups of the African community, today an explosion took place in the Buroni region of Mogadishu, in which four soldiers from the African Union Mission in Somalia were killed in addition to the injury of others. This bombing comes on the same day as the twentieth anniversary of the Sirte declaration of establishing the African Union on September 9, 1999, which called for the unification of the African peoples and the establishment of the values of peace, justice and equality.

Ayman Aqil, president of Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights stated that terrorist groups receive material support A strong technological and logistical presence from the outside, which leads to the development of its terrorist operation and the increase in the number of victims, which achieves the goals of some countries in the region in igniting the conflict in Somalia, led by Qatar, which aims to inflame the conflict continuously by supporting various conflict parties at the same time. He also made clear that targeting the African Union mission forces is a message of defiance from terrorist groups to the African Union and its governments.

 Hence, there is an urgent need for a regional and international mechanism to stop external interference in Somalia and the African continent in general, in addition to stopping support for groups in all forms, and in this case the groups will not find a safe haven or resources through which they can continue terrorist operations.
