Within the framework of the Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights implementation of the activities of the “Integrated Protection for Families of Prisoners and Detainees” project in the governorates of Cairo and Giza, the Foundation handed over (24) eye grants to implement small projects for the families of prisoners and detainees. It is worth noting that Maat Foundation, through the project, sought to improve the economic conditions of the families of prisoners and detainees in the targeted areas in the governorates of Cairo and Giza, namely (Al-Khalifa, Dar Al-Salam and Al-Basateen - Al-Maasara, Atfih - Imbaba and Bulaq). The project provides services to the families of prisoners and detainees up to the fourth degree of kinship. Craftsmanship in sewing, embroidery and crochet skills. Professional training for computer use and maintenance of mobile or shower devices. Employment services. Coexistence training in order to improve the economic conditions of families of prisoners and detainees. The project provides for distinguished families who are graduates of training programs or who are qualified to do small projects.
