A report on the practices of the Houthis and Iran in Yemen 

offered to me: Session 39 B Human Rights Council

Concerning Clause 10 : Report of the High Commissioner on the human rights situation in Yemen and on the implementation of technical assistance as stipulated in Human Rights Council Resolution 36/31 (resolution HRC 36/31)

Maat Foundation for Peace, Development and Human Rights (Egypt) presents this report in the context of its interest in the human rights situation in the Arab region, especially in light of the armed conflicts in this region, including Yemen, which is witnessing tragic situations, especially in light of the violations committed by the Houthis with the support of Iran in The right of the Yemeni people, through the perspective of the UN resolutions issued regarding the ongoing conflict in Yemen, especially Resolution No. 31/36 and Resolution 33/16.

This report outlines the violations committed by the Houthis in the ongoing conflict in Yemen with the support of Iran, since 2014 between forces supporting President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi, the pro-government coalition forces, the Houthi people's committees, and army units loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh.

This requires reviewing monitoring arrangements and providing technical support to improve the human rights situation in Yemen.
